Kenny rules out Brexit minister

Taoiseach will remain in charge of government's Brexit preparations

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has ruled out appointing a Brexit minister.

It comes ahead of an all-island Brexit forum in Dublin next week, which is due to be attended by 300 people.

In a briefing in Government buildings, Kenny said that he was personally chairing the cabinet sub-committee meetings on Brexit. "I do not agree with the assertions there should be a Brexit minister," he said.
