Senior managers at Dublin City Council have been warned there can be no easing “in any circumstances” of rules requiring staff to be in the office at least three days a week.

Owen Keegan, chief executive of the council, wrote to nine members of the senior management team on January 26, asking them to remind staff at their departments that they could not work more than two days a week from home.

“Current policy on Blended Working provides for a maximum of 2 days working from home,” he wrote in an email to nine senior staff, which has been obtained by the Business Post.
