Minister for Justice Charlie Flanagan is “satisfied” that solicitor Helen Lucey — who was found guilty of professional misconduct for transferring €259,000 from a client account to her own — is qualified to continue in her publicly-funded role as coroner for Kerry North and Kerry West.

Lucey had gone to the High Court to appeal a finding of professional misconduct against her by the Law Society, the professional standards body for solicitors.
