Just 16% of Irish consumers avoiding leisure flights to help climate, survey shows

More than eight in ten consumers in Ireland have still yet to adopt sustainable travel practices, a new survey shows, with only 16 per cent saying they avoid optional or leisure flights.

A global sustainability study conducted by Deloitte, which surveyed 1,000 Irish consumers, has found that 49 per cent of respondents have made changes to their personal behaviour to help the climate.
