Judge issues order to restrict lay litigant couple’s access to courts

An “exceptionally intelligent” couple, who made bizarre claims about virtual money “in the mind of bankers” in an action against Bank of Scotland, are to have their future access to the courts regulated.

After 144 days fighting their case, lay litigants Angela and Patrick McMahon have been issued with a highly unusual Isaac Wunder order and will need judicial approval before bringing any further legal proceedings.
