The journalist who led the controversial Boston College project has made a complaint to the Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland relating to how interviews were released to investigate the murder of Jean McConville.

In 2011 the PSNI went to court in the US and in 2013 eventually won access to 11 out of hundreds of interviews as part of their investigation into the IRA abduction and murder of McConville.
