JJ Rhatigan in legal fight with Nama over Galway city site

The Galway property development firm JJ Rhatigan is facing a High Court challenge from Nama over the future of a development site in the city.

Acting on instruction from the state’s toxic loans agency, KPMG liquidator Kieran Wallace initiated the action last week. It is understood that it relates to a dispute centred on the Crown Site, a property the developer is in possession of on the Monivea Road.
