‘It’s not a question of if, it’s a question of when’: EDesk chief shoots for unicorn status
The head of the ecommerce platform says a $1 billion valuation is 'only a matter of time’
Dermot O’Connor, chief executive of eDesk, the ecommerce platform, believes the business will achieve a valuation of at least $1 billion within the next three years.
The valuation, known as unicorn status, refers to tech companies in particular and O’Connor is confident the Dublin-based business is on course to reach that level in the next two to three years.
“It’s not a question of if, it’s a question of when. The opportunity is huge. It’s a superb product. This is an Irish business in a great market, with a great product,” O’Connor told the Business Post.
