ISIF to inject €50m into venture capital firms led by women

Just 5 per cent of managing partners in European investment firms are female, compared to 15 per cent in the US

The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) has set aside €50 million to invest in female-led private equity and investment firms over the next two years. The state’s sovereign wealth fund said it hopes to incentivise the growth of new and existing female-led firms through the initiative.
