Irish tech companies are braced for the impact of the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) last week, with the meltdown happening so suddenly that it is still not clear how many firms here may be exposed.

With attempts being made over the weekend to secure a buyer for the troubled US lender, it is hoped that many of the problems which have arisen from the rapid collapse may be quickly resolved.
