Irish gambler was involved in disputed bet that sparked £1m court case

An Irish professional gambler was in the group which organised a bet in the name of a 19-year-old student that resulted in a £1 million court case, The Sunday Business Post can reveal.

Bet365 and Megan McCann settled the case for less than £200,000 last week, according to a report on a gambling trade website.
