Liebherr family’s hotel company enjoys 10 per cent trade boost

Business at Killarney Hotels, the Kerry company owned by the Swiss-based Liebherr family, is up 10 per cent year on year, according to its general manager.

Michael Brennan, who last week oversaw the reopening of one of the three properties in the group after an €18 million refurbishment programme, said that Irish guests and high-spending American tourists were driving growth in the business.
