Irish cryptocurrency developer claims Facebook won’t take his ads

An Irish cryptocurrency developer has made complaints to anti-competition watchdogs over Facebook’s digital payment project.

Greg Geoghegan claims that the social media giant stopped taking ads for his GCN project last year and soon after announced its own online currency.

Calibra is the name of Facebook’s digital wallet, which will allow users to spend a new currency known as libra on the company’s Facebook, Whatsapp and Messenger platforms.
