Irish Continental Group enjoys bumper year as ferry revenues rise to €400m
Transport group reports 74 per cent jump in overall revenues and pays out €24m in dividends to its shareholders but says it is ‘concerned’ by the lack of checks on goods arriving into Northern Ireland from Britain
Revenues at Irish Continental Group (ICG), the transport group that owns Irish Ferries, soared by 74 per cent, or €250 million, last year in a record period of growth post-pandemic.
ICG this morning posted its full-year results for 2022, which showed a significant spike in trading levels at both its ferries division – the Irish Ferries part of the business – and its container and terminal division.
