Irish company launches British Ministry of Defence joint venture as it eyes €7m in funding

Silivercloud, the Irish health tech firm, has launched a partnership with the Ministry of Defence in Britain and is set to seal around €7 million in new funding within weeks, The Sunday Business Post understands.

The Dublin company provides online therapeutic supports to aid mental well-being that can be accessed on mobile phones, tablets and laptops.

It started out as a research project at Trinity College Dublin before spinning out as a commercial venture in 2012. It now has offices in Britain, Europe and the US and employs 27 people.
