Charity wants bill to go further with stronger warning labels

The Irish Cancer Society (ICS) has urged politicians to implement a bill which will set minimum prices for alcohol products.

The Public Health (Alcohol) Bill 2015 is back before the Seanad today. As well as the minimum pricing plan, the proposed legislation also includes health labelling for alcohol products and regulations on the marketing and advertising of alcohol.
