Irish businesses condemn Bus Éireann strike at nine hours notice

Thousands of workers face commuter chaos, while traffic delays will hamper transport of goods

Small firms and businesses have this evening condemned the decision by trade unions at Bus Éireann to go on strike from midnight.

It came after the National Bus and Rail Union (NBRU) and SIPTU said their members will engage in an all-out indefinite strike from 12am.
