The Irish boss of Tesco received a £4.4 million (€5.2 million) pay packet for the past year, it has been revealed as shoppers continue to face record rises in food prices.
The payout for Ken Murphy, the Cork born chief executive, was less than the £4.75 million package he was given a year earlier.
