Cairn Homes and Glenveagh Properties take council to court over Kildare development plan

The firms, Ireland’s two biggest housebuilders, say the scheme is based on census data which is out of date

Cairn Homes and Glenveagh Properties are applying to the High Court to seek a judicial review of the new Kildare county development plan.

The companies claimed that the proposed plan, covering 2023 to 2029, will reduce the number of homes which can be built in the county.
