Ireland tops European sexual harassment league
The country that reported the highest level of sexual harassment was Mexico
Ireland has the worst levels of claimed sexual harassment when compared to other European countries.
Of the 1015 people surveyed in Ireland, 11 per cent had suffered some kind of sexual harassment in the past year (between October 2017 and October 2018). This is the highest proportion suffered among all the other European countries surveyed. Sweden reported 8 per cent, Britain reported 7 per cent and France reported 4 per cent.
