Ireland signs up to OECD concord on multinational taxes
Agreement bids to wipe opacity and couple taxes to country where profits are made
The Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement has been signed by 31 countries including Ireland.
The OECD concord is a bid to tackle tax evasion and avoidance by big multinational companies by sharing country-by-country information.
It follows concerns about the way some international firms move their profits to countries with lower tax rates.
