Senior civil servants from government departments are now meeting every week to map out detailed contingency plans for what has been labelled internally as a “disorderly Brexit scenario”

Britain’s new proposals for leaving the EU have been given a lukewarm response from the Irish government, as contingency planning for a no-deal Brexit is ramped up.
