Ireland now among JP Morgan’s biggest locations as bank hires 1,000th staff member

Wall Street giant counts Ireland as its biggest EMEA location outside of the UK and is actively hiring techology workers

JP Morgan Chase, the Wall Street giant, now counts Ireland as its biggest EMEA location outside the UK after hiring its 1,000th employee in Dublin this month and acquiring Global Shares, the Cork tech firm, for $750 million last year.

Responding to queries from the Business Post, the financial services firm confirmed it had hired a 1,000th staff member in February.
