Inflation pushes Michelin award-winning Dublin restaurant to shut

A Michelin award winning restaurant in south Dublin has cited constant price hikes after ceasing trading.

Circa in Terenure, which was started in March 2019 by friends Emmet Murphy, Ross Duffy and Gareth Naughton, was popular and well-reviewed. It previously won a Michelin Bib Gourmand award, which recognises establishments serving good food at moderate prices.

However, in a statement posted on its social media pages, the restaurant announced it has permanently shut.
