Minister for Enterprise Simon Coveney has said that Indeed, the recruitment platform, implemented a hiring freeze in an attempt to avoid having to cut roles at its Irish operations, and improved the terms of its severance packages after criticism.

It comes as the Business Post has learned that the company told staff it had “no plans for layoffs” five months before announcing up to 225 job cuts at its Irish operation.
