IDA pays to change Wikipedia pages about agency
IDA Ireland has paid for changes to Wikipedia pages about itself and its chief executive, amid growing concerns within the agency about anonymous editing of the online encyclopedia that portrays Ireland’s tax regime negatively.
The state agency responsible for foreign direct investment has identified an anonymous Wikipedia user it says is responsible for tens of thousands of edits to Wikipedia pages about Ireland, the IDA and various elements of the state’s tax regime.
