IDA chief calls for clarity on new Dublin building height rules

The IDA chief executive, Martin Shanahan, has called on Minister for Housing Eoghan Murphy to clarify the situation on new building heights in the capital.

Murphy abolished the maximum height cap in urban areas in December but confusion has reigned since, with a major row erupting between Johnny Ronan, the developer of the Salesforce Tower, and Dublin City Council over the interpretation of the new rules.
