ICTU slates €2.3m average salaries for company bosses

The bosses at Ireland’s biggest companies earn on average €2.3 million annually, according to a new report from the Irish Congress of Trade Unions.

The analysis of 26 public companies shows the average total pay for chief executives is still increasing at a rate of 6 per cent per annum. The highest paid chief executive by far was Albert Manifold of CRH, who had total earnings worth €8.7 million in 2017. Of that, ...
