IBRC liquidators facing whopper €1.1m legal bill from Arthur Cox

IBRC’s special liquidators have been charged over €1.1 million in legal fees by lawyers defending a single case taken against the bank by the Belfast property investor Peter Curistan.

The fees have raised fresh concerns about the cost of winding down the former Anglo Irish Bank, which a recent report suggested could reach up to €306 million by the time it is completed at the end of 2022.
