Each morning, an email arrives in my system from a court data company called Mylegaldiary.com. It contains all the High Court cases that have been lodged the previous day.
It is cursory information, the bare facts – name of defendant, name of plaintiff and a code which explains if the case relates to a plenary action or a summary judgement case (there are other cases, but these are the main two in terms of volume).
