Employment at the Chinese telecommunications equipment company in Ireland will rise to 120

Chinese telecommunications equipment company Huawei has opened a new research and development (R&D) office in Dublin's docklands, where it plans to create more than 50 new jobs by 2016.

This would bring to 120 the number employed in R&D in Ireland by Huawei, which has other locations in Dublin, Cork and Athlone, IDA Ireland said.
