Darragh O’Brien refused a request from Bartra to instruct local authorities to have a “more positive attitude” to planning applications for residential developments, correspondence shows.

The Business Post reported earlier this month that the property developer had complained directly to the Housing Minister over what it called the “overly prescriptive” approach of South Dublin County Council to proposals for new housing developments in a particular area.
