House prices climb by 2.2 per cent in June despite biting ECB rate hikes
The annual rate of inflation eased significantly from 14.1 per cent a year earlier as borrowing costs rose
House prices rose by 2.2 per cent in the year to the end of June despite rapid interest rate rises driving up the cost of borrowing, according to the latest national price index from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
This is significantly down from a 14.1 per cent increase in June 2022.
