Hot deal: Irish food company to supply British chain

Green Saffron, the Indian food company which began life as a stall in a farmers’ market and now employs 12 staff in Cork, has secured a listing with the British supermarket chain Waitrose.

Arun Kapil, who runs the business with his wife Olive, said he expected to secure more business on the back of the deal, even with the uncertainty surrounding Brexit.
