Hostelworld expects to report positive earnings in second half of 2022

Company reports adjusted loss of €5.2m for first half of the year, down from €9.7m in the same period of 2021 as travel sector continues to recover from pandemic

Hostelworld expects to report positive earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) in the second half of this year, as the travel sector continues to recover from pandemic disruption.

The Gary Morrison-headed company reported an adjusted ebitda loss of €5.2 million for the first six months of this year, a reduction on the adjusted loss of €9.7 million in the same period last year.
