High Court reduces fees claimed by CHC liquidator by €200,000

The High Court has shaved €200,000 off the fees and expenses claimed by the liquidator of collapsed broker Custom House Capital (CHC).

Kieran Wallace of KPMG sought €699,586 in professional fees and outlay for an 18-month period between July 2016 and December 2017. However, the court has made several deductions to the bill, noting that itemised headings such as “client communication” and “management agreement” properly fell under general liquidation work.
