Heritage hotel developer to build €60 million retirement village
The complex, at a green field site next to the Heritage resort, will be made up of a nursing home with 116 beds, including a 20-bed specialist dementia care unit
Passage Healthcare Investments and Heritage hotel and golf resort developer Tommy Keane have teamed up to build a retirement village in Co Laois which has just received conditional planning approval.
Keane has a financial backer for the circa €60 million investment project, called Killenard Retirement Village, which he will develop. Passage, which has significant ambitions in the Irish care home market, will run it.
