Contractor BAM has submitted additional claims which could lead to rise in final bill

Minister for Health Simon Harris is due to be questioned this week about whether the cost of the National Children’s Hospital is set to exceed €2 billion.

The budget for the project on the St James’s Hospital site has already escalated from €940 million to an estimated €2 billion.
