Health Minister Simon Harris has set up an independent review group to look at the role of voluntary organisations, including religious groups, in the running of health and social services in Ireland.

The move comes following the controversy earlier this year overthe relocation of the National Maternity Hospital to the grounds of St Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin.
