Coalition pushing for new ‘social partnership lite’ deal

The government is preparing to ask employers and unions to join a new process of “social dialogue”, ministers have been told.

Discussions have taken place at the highest levels of government and finance minister Michael Noonan has spoken to ministers and senior officials about the plans in recent weeks, The Sunday Business Post understands.
