Government department seeks data centre space no more than ‘an hour’s drive from Dublin 2’

The Department of Justice is looking for storage space from a data centre provider which, it has stipulated, must be located no more than an hour’s drive from its offices in Dublin 2.

Tender documents show the department is seeking storage space in a data centre to support its IT infrastructure for the next four years at a cost which could rise to €940,000.
