Google wants the Irish government to help it and other similar companies to fight the so-called ‘techlash’, its chief legal officer has said.

The internet giant and others such as Amazon, Apple and Facebook are facing unprecedented scrutiny and sanction from regulators around the world, and growing public animosity, which has been described as a tech backlash.
