Goal has further beefed up its investigations unit as it continues to strengthen its anti-fraud functions following a corruption scandal in 2016.

The international aid charity recruited an investigation manager and counter-fraud specialist as part of moves to augment its investigations arm, its latest annual report says.

“In 2018, Goal further strengthened its capability to develop strategies for the prevention and detection of wrongdoing, and to assess and investigate all allegations or complaints ...
