Giles on football trust: ‘I don’t have to justify anything’

The soccer legend who is the public face of the John Giles Foundation has said it doesn’t need to justify its decisions about how it runs its finances.

“There’s a mistake here,” said Giles when contacted on Friday regarding its lack of publicly available financial records. “The foundation is a trust and is not required to file accounts.”
