Auctioneer and former Fine Gael candidate Gerry Coffey has resigned as President of Ipav, days before its AGM

Gerry Coffey, the president of the Irish Professional Auctioneers and Valuers Association (Ipav), has resigned just days before the body’s AGM.

It comes following the organisation’s board “unanimously upholding a complaint against him, made by the CEO, in his capacity as an employee”, the Institute said.
