Taxman targets Gerald Kean
Case taken by Revenue against celebrity solicitor
Revenue has initiated tax proceedings in the High Court against celebrity solicitor Gerald Kean.
The well-known lawyer spoke out last year about trying to repay bank and tax debts of under €5 million. At the time he described himself as “broke”.
A Revenue case, lodged in the name of collector general Michael Gladney, was issued against Kean last Friday week. Solicitors’ rm Pierse & Fitzgibbon is acting for Revenue in the case. At ...
