The Galway bike scheme has fallen flat according to new figures.

The city's bike rental scheme began less than a year ago with 205 bikes, 19 stations and 395 stands.

But it's gone downhill because of bad planning according to critics.

Each bike in Galway is used about nine times a month compared to 222 times a month in Dublin, 66 times a month in Cork and 16 in Limerick. Most Galway users ...
