A Galway-based jewellery maker ran out of stock and was forced to stop taking online orders after Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, was pictured wearing one of her creations.

In March 2020, Aisling O’Brien, owner of All The Falling Stars, was asked to make jewellery for Middleton which would be gifted to her on her visit to Galway.

The necklace and earrings were accepted by the Duchess and in September that year she was pictured wearing one of the pieces. Speaking to the Business Post last week, O’Brien said that once the link was made to All The Falling Stars, the volume of traffic to its website meant that after a couple of days the business was overrun.
