GAA makes digital leap after failing to agree new Sky deal

GAAGo platform to be used to host live panel shows, documentaries and matches

The GAA plans to add more content to its GAAGo platform, including live panel shows and documentaries, following its decision to end its eight-year relationship with Sky.

Alan Milton, the GAA’s director of communications, said that streaming championship games online rather than broadcasting them on Sky would give the organisation more flexibility in scheduling matches.
