Andrews’ four-year stint at Goal started off in difficult circumstances
In this newspaper last week, Goal’s then chief executive Barry Andrews wrote about the struggle to reach vulnerable people in northern Syria, noting that an investigation by the US government into supply chain irregularities at Ireland’s biggest aid agency had not helped.
Three days later, he resigned from office.
